Mobile planetarium to popularize astronomy

What?

The mobile planetarium is a self-sustaining effective tool to attract childrens from vulnerable populations to astronomy. 

Why?

The new generations do not tend to look at the sky, in the big cities light pollution can see only a few stars, astronomy is inaccessible to vulnerable populations in Argentina, is not even included in school science content. With this situation are the members of Proyecto Miradas* (PM) when they come out to dictate their astronomy dissemination workshops in informal settlements, public schools, cultural and health centers, psychiatric institutions of Rosario and its surroundings.
The planetarium allows to know the secrets of Cosmos attractive and entertaining way. It is a tool of endless educational possibilities and an unforgettable learning experience.
Being mobile also provides the ability to work with different vulnerable populations who otherwise can not access this experience, being very practical to meet the different needs and objectives of a large area of influence.
Therefore it is considered that this experience can be the gateway to the fascinating world of astronomy for thousands of children.
In addition, the project includes its own self-sustaining, generating their own income that will allow the continuation of free educational activities for vulnerable populations.
